Location Spotlight: Tuscany

Part of being an elopement and destination wedding photographer is taking the time to deeply explore location that you’re passionate about. No agenda, no couples – just slowly exploring and peeking into unique spaces on your own.

I lived in Parma, Italy for about a year off-and-on, and have family outside of Rome. But Tuscany keeps calling me back. In October, 2022, I signed up for my second Tuscan trail marathon and scheduled some extra time to soak in the region with my camera.

I’m just in awe of its rolling hills, muted, soothing colors, passion for food and wine, and rich history. Siena and Cortona are both smaller towns, perfectly suited for traveling couples. Neither one is as big or crowded as Florence, but they’re big enough to host a group of guests (if you’d like), and offer a number of activities worthy of a several days-long trip.

If you’re interested in eloping or hosting a micro wedding in Tuscany, let’s talk immediately!
