Cozy, Chic Lincoln City Wedding

Taylor and Brian’s intimate Lincoln City wedding at the Salmonberry Inn perfectly blended luxury, warmth, and the textures of the Oregon Coast. When we first connected, the two were adamant that they wanted to spend as much time with their loved ones. We’d spend most of the day capturing real, candid moments. Out of eight hours together, we allocated about 20 – 30 minutes to portraits, including family portraits.

Your photographer should join the getting ready process

Pop music on the bluetooth, the smell of hot hair, makeup spread out on the floor screams girlhood. And I. Love. Being. In. The. Room. I think some people stress that they don’t look photogenic, or nothing *exciting* is happening. But the getting ready space is where the girls, gays and theys come together to reflect on community.

When I’m in the room, I’m always brought back to my early 20s. We’d gather together in a rundown one-bedroom apartment and swap lipsticks and spill tea for hours. The club was the end goal, but life was happening in that apartment.

Getting ready is a rare opportunity to revisit those days and celebrate the life before the milestone.

Lincoln City Weddings at the Salmonberry Inn

The Salmonberry Inn is one of the most unique Oregon Coast wedding venues – intimate, welcoming, and full of character. Just steps from the ocean, it offers a cozy and romantic setting for couples who want their wedding to feel relaxed, personal, and connected to the beauty of the coast. With its charming interiors and easy access to windswept beaches, it’s the perfect backdrop for couples who dream of celebrating in a space that feels both inviting and unforgettable.

What makes weddings at the Salmonberry Inn so special is the balance of comfort and authenticity. The inn itself is warm and whimsical, ideal for intimate gatherings where you can focus on being present with your closest people. Step outside, and you’re greeted by the moody coastline Lincoln City is known for -perfect for portraits at golden hour or a private vow exchange by the waves. For folks hosting Lincoln City weddings, the Salmonberry Inn is a beautiful option.

The After Party

With most of their families and friends scattered throughout the United States, these two couldn’t wait to party with their favorite people. This was by far one of the most fun nights I’ve had at a wedding. And it included a first for me – a real life college mascot. Brian is from a long line of Wazzu alumni, and Taylor surprised him by hiring Butch T. Cougar for the last few hours of the party. He was a blast to have around. I’m honestly surprised I don’t see mascots more often.

Planning a Lincoln City Wedding

Planning a wedding in Lincoln City is all about balancing the beauty of the Oregon coast with the personal touches that make your day feel truly yours. From the rugged cliffs to the quiet stretches of beach, this town offers a variety of stunning backdrops for everything from intimate ceremonies to full-scale celebrations. Couples can take advantage of local accommodations, like the cozy charm of the Salmonberry Inn, while still designing a wedding that reflects their style—whether that’s relaxed and breezy, elegantly simple, or thoughtfully curated with unique details.

One of the joys of a Lincoln City wedding is how easy it is to blend natural scenery with local character. You might picture an ocean-view ceremony with the sound of waves in the background, a reception filled with fresh, locally inspired cuisine, and small touches—handmade signage, seasonal flowers, or a carefully chosen playlist—that make the day unmistakably yours. It’s a town that encourages creativity while providing a comfortable, welcoming setting for guests. And because Lincoln City is compact yet full of hidden gems, you can create a wedding experience that feels both intimate and effortlessly scenic without feeling like you’ve sacrificed any style or luxury.
