Iconic Timberline Lodge Engagement Shoot

Sam and Mikey are getting married in Hood River next summer and I absolutely cannot wait for their big day. These two just radiate so much love and support for each other, you can’t miss it. They love camping, hiking and soaking in the outdoors together, so I knew Timberline Lodge would be the perfect spot to take their engagement photos.

Mt. Hood, or Wy’East, is Oregon’s highest peak and towers over the Timberline Lodge. Those who travel to Portland on a clear day can’t miss it in the distance, and it serves as an iconic symbol for Portland and its surrounding areas. We met in the early morning and managed to find some jaw-dropping views as the perfect backdrop for the couple’s photos.

I’m Jaime, an Oregon wedding photographer with a passion for intimate and intentional weddings. I'm also a trail runner, mountain lover, and recovering project manager, who thrives in tall peaks old growth forests, rocky coastlines, and everybody-knows-your-name wine bars.
