Surprise Proposal in the Gorge

When J reached out to see if I could capture his proposal while he and his girlfriend were visiting Oregon, I jumped at the chance. Proposals are such a fun challenge and an incredible opportunity to capture spontaneous, raw, and precious moments for couples! J was able to convince A to dress up under the guise of taking photos for their Christmas cards (genius), and I was able to blend in as one of many landscape photographers that frequent Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge to take waterfall photos.

With my zoom lens in hand, I’m so glad I was able to snap a few photos of this sweet moment! She said yes (of course!) and we spent the next couple of hours celebrating their milestone with engagement photos!
