Rayla and Kalli, along with a few of their very favorite people, traveled to Portland for an intimate wedding at Leach Botanical Garden in Portland, Oregon. Nestled in the Southeast neighborhood, the Garden is a lush, green oasis. With lovely small buildings, a patio with string lights, and plenty of little trails through trees and alongside streams, Leach Botanical Garden is the perfect venue for those seeking a small, romantic sanctuary for their small wedding or elopement.
We started the day in couple’s Airbnb in Vancouver, Washington to get ready (I love the idea of getting a space big enough for all of your guests when you’re traveling for a wedding!).
To preserve the first look, two groups drove to the Leach Botanical Garden for the portraits, private vow exchange, and ceremony.
Rayla and Kalli absolutely radiated so much joy and love for each other. I am so grateful they chose me to help capture their day, and that were game to try all of our creative photo ideas. These two were an absolute delight to spend the day with.
Weddings at the Leach Botanical Garden
The Leach Botanical Garden garden is an inviting, restorative urban greenspace. Taking up almost 17 acres, the Garden features tall trees, lush greenery, and a flowing stream. There are SO many little corners for portraits – we had so much fun exploring all of the unique pockets. I so highly recommend this location for your engagement photos or elopement / intimate wedding.
And, if you’re ready to book me for photos, let’s talk!
